About Mother Dairy
Mother Dairy, established in 1974, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). It was created under the pioneering initiative 'Operation Flood' to help make India self-sufficient in milk production. Headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Mother Dairy has since evolved into one of India’s leading manufacturers and marketers of milk and dairy products. The company offers a wide range of products, including milk, cultured dairy products, ice creams, paneer, ghee, and more. A significant portion of its milk is sourced from village-level dairy cooperatives and farmer organizations, ensuring fair prices for producers while maintaining quality for consumers. In addition to dairy, Mother Dairy also operates under the 'Safal' brand for fresh fruits and vegetables. Safal has a strong presence in Bengaluru and exports its produce and processed foods to over 40 countries globally. In recent years, the company has diversified its portfolio by entering the packaged sweets, frozen foods, and bakery segments. With a focus on innovation and consumer satisfaction.
